The Franklin Park Reading Series is celebrating eight years of provocative lit in Crown Heights! Here's what's in store: Superstar Franklin Park alum Mary Gaitskill, returning for a special performance with musician Peg Simone, and readings from four mesmerizing writers: fav FP alum Joshua Mohr, sharing his searing new memoir Sirens; PEN/Bingham finalist Clare Beams, author of the mesmerizing debut story collection We Show What We Have Learned; Hannah Lillith Assadi, previewing her debut Sonora, one of the most anticipated novels of the year, and the winner of the Restless Books Prize for New Immigrant Writing, Deepak Unnikrishnan!

The festivities include $5 drafts + a free-to-enter raffle for the authors' books
